Increased Energy Demand
With countries across the globe pushing towards e-mobility, the need for energy will increase at an unprecedented scale at a time when nations, including India, are struggling to meet the energy needs of the population. The U.S. Energy Information Administration ("EIA") expects global energy demand to increase 47% in the next 30 years, driven by population and economic growth, especially in developing Asian countries. The EIA estimates renewables will make up 27% of global energy demand by 2050. This assumes a 165% increase in renewables from 2020 levels.

Weak Health Infrastructure
The health systems across the globe were under stress during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many still are. It is mostly the developing countries that will be the least able to cope without assistance to prepare and respond to many challenges that may arise in the future. Reducing emissions of greenhouse gases through better transport, and efficient use of energy compliments particularly reduced air pollution resulting in improved health.
